About Us

Therapeutix was inspired by a journey of self-discovery and a passion for supporting neurodivergent adults. Growing up in an environment where neurodivergence in girls often went unnoticed, our founder, Nicole, experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating a neurotypical world. Now, with a diagnosis later in life, she's committed to helping others on a similar path find understanding, grace, and compassion.

Nicole Meister, MSW, RSW, RCC

Nicole (she/her) is a registered clinical counsellor and a registered social worker in both BC and Alberta, bringing over a decade of experience in supporting people to find healing and growth in a variety of settings.

Collaborative, empathic, and a passionate advocate for both her clients and the communities she serves, Nicole excels at building strong connections and empowering clients to find the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. She provides a space where clients feel heard and supported. Her approach is solution-focused, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming, drawing from a Narrative Therapy framework while integrating aspects of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Somatic, and Strengths-Based approaches. Nicole is committed to continuing her growth as a clinician and has received training in the Truly Inclusive Spaces™ model developed by Elisa Court.

Nicole is passionate about helping others explore their challenges, build resilience, and embrace their strengths. She brings a strong sense of empathy and respect for her clients’ journeys, supporting them as they move toward healing and personal growth. Her natural ability to listen and provide support—qualities developed over a lifetime of personal challenges—has made her a safe space for others to reflect on their struggles.

Nicole’s rich background of lived experience informs her practice. As a trauma survivor, she understands what it takes to heal. As a single parent, she understands the need to develop new skills to balance the challenges of adult life and raising a child.

Outside of her professional life, Nicole enjoys a variety of interests that help her feel grounded. An animal lover, she has a particular fondness for horses, dogs and cats. Nicole is also a competitive athlete, having played soccer and badminton, even winning a silver medal in the BC College games for badminton.
